In our pursuit of delivering low prices that Canadians can agree with, we think we found a compromise! We start by creating a pricing model that is aimed at being cheaper than our competitors. 

To price a sweater, we locate similar sold products from online store 1 + online store 2. We then try to match any similar characteristics (sequins, wool blend, lace detail or etc.), unique appeal or design. After assorting through a selection of prices, we then calculate the average price with the cost of shipping included. 

Since all our items come from a single warehouse, there’s no individual shipping costs incurred for every item! This is in stark contrast to other online marketplaces, which can make a purchase much more costly than anticipated.

Sizing & Quality

We get that clothes come in all sizes and differ among brands. Which is why we measure each piece for that perfect fit!  We include measurements for the chest, waist, length and inseam, depending on the item. More details can be found here. Additionally, we also built our search by allowing exact measurements to be filtered, so you can be certain. Simple and convenient, without the what ifs!

Our goal has always been to serve Canadians with an affordable and a more sustainable way to fashion. The problem came from our own experiences when shopping for sustainable options. We were often met with two type of scenarios:

Local thrift stores: Selection is limited and affordable, but often inconsistent. Pieces that were initially perceived to be good, might sometimes feature snags, piling or stains.

 

Online marketplaces: Wide selection and consistent, but higher prices. Though prices can be competitive, individual shipping costs make items less desirable especially when buying from different sellers.
